our little fish

We spent the weekend down with family, getting ready to send Joe's brother off on his mission. We sure will miss him!  He is so cute with Abigail, and a great uncle! On Saturday we went to the Aquatic Center in Bountiful. Abigail couldn't contain her excitement! She loved running/walking in the water, and going around the lazy pool. Aunt Jill was nice enough to walk around with her. She didn't want to stop.

Don't you just love the look on her face?? She just wanted to go and go. We couldn't hardly get her to sit down! She also discovered Joe's chest hair, and thought it was fun to pull and play with. It made me laugh :)

She figured out how to climb up the chair! She is trying to climb up on to the couch, but her legs are a little too short.

The other day we went to the Smithfield Library to drop off a book, and spent some time in the grass.  Abigail loves the grass, and recently has started picking it and trying to put it in her mouth. She won't eat regular food, but tries to eat grass??  Crazy girl!!

Abigail is getting to the stage where it can be somewhat impossible to change a diaper, unless there is something to distract her. She enjoys trying to get the clean diaper you're trying to put on, and getting away as soon as the dirty one comes off. I try to have something handy that she likes, and the other day I gave her a pacifier. She put it in her mouth, and I thought for a moment she was actually going to start sucking. But alas, no. It is very interesting to play with, and she loves pulling it out of other people's mouths, but won't suck on it.

The other thing Abigail has been doing a lot of lately is getting into the bathroom and playing with the toilet and garbage can. And bag of toilet paper. She loves to bang on the toilet lid, and grab a hold of the garbage can. Every time I open the bathroom door, she is off and it's a race to see who gets there first!

fun filled Friday

funny faces! I love capturing the priceless faces that Abigail makes. I love it when she gets excited and her eyes go wide, and she flaps her arms. She only does that when she's really excited :)

Friday was a great day!  We got to visit with some friends that we only see once a year now that they have moved away. And it was lucky that another couple was also in town from far away, so three couples that lived in the same apartment complex for a little while. It was fun to catch up and meet each others kids. 

Molly, Charlotte, and Abigail!!  All such beautiful babies! Molly has the cutest red hair and is the tallest of all of them, and Charlotte is a non-stop mover! They were all born within a month and a half of each other!
