Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving this year with the Chambers. I wish I would have taken more pictures!! it is hard when you are the one cooking, ha!  We enjoyed playing games, shooting turkey "balloons", and eating great food!

 her favorite food is definitely mac & cheese!  We usually eat it with Lily before school. I learned the hard way that she needs to be naked to eat it, ha!

Happy Halloween

This years Halloween was pretty great.  We hate dinner, then headed out early. It was fairly light when we left, and very dark when we got back.  We went around our neighborhood and came home with overflowing bags of candy! It was fun to see all the kids & parents out, such a great place to live!

Cassidy & Mom

This girl ... she is such a joy! Most of the time. She loves to be held, and is pretty friendly with others she sees. At church she will sometimes reach out her arms to people as we pass, wanting them to hold her!  Silly girl. She has also been a struggle for me - it is time consuming taking care of a baby - and I don't have a lot of "me" time. I exercise after lunch, then shower.  So I'm not ready until maybe 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Every morning she comes and sleeps with me in bed, sometimes she wakes up at 1, other times its 4-5. She will drink a bottle then go to sleep next to me in bed.

Her words are - Momma, Dadda, Abba (Abigail, and all other siblings), splash, bottle, no, yeah, downstairs. She signs more and food/bottle.

Pumpkin Carving

We have learned in the past to wait until close to Halloween to carve pumpkins, so we did these the day before.  I told Grayson he needed to help gut his pumpkin - he wasn't too happy but he did it anyway! Lily and Abigail also did it but without complaining as much.
