gingerbread houses

I decided the best way to use up all our Halloween candy was to make gingerbread houses, and the kids were very excited. I melted sugar to glue the houses together - I don't think I'll do that again. I burnt my fingers too many times, and it HURT!  The kids decided they wanted colored frosting for their houses, and I let them do whatever they wanted.  They were in heaven!

look alikes

Lots of people are always asking who Cassidy looks like - Joe & Grayson usually win. Here is a picture of Grayson at 5 months, same age as Cassidy

Buddy Bear

Abigail's teacher love bears, and every weekend someone gets to take Buddy Bear home and have adventures and record them. Abigail was SO excited to have Buddy over Thanksgiving. He went everywhere with us, and she was in heaven. Then it came time to take him back and Abigail was devastated - she was so sad to have to bring him back. I said we could take a picture and then she could always remember him. I love Abigail's tenderness, and glad she loves freely.

Christmas Tree

We came home after Thanksgiving and set up the Christmas decorations - the kids were VERY excited to decorate the tree.  I had to fight my OCD tendencies and didn't move the ornaments around until after they went to bed, but they did pretty good.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a great day! We spent Wednesday night at my brother's house, and my kids had a blast spending time with the cousins. The next morning we woke up, and I ran outside - it was a chilly but beautiful! We had an early lunch (it was catered) around 12:30 - my favorite things were the salad, the mashed potatoes and the butterscotch pie! We played games and had a great time!  We spent the next night at my parents and the next morning went first thing to see Coco. I was really excited about the movie, and it did not disappoint! Abigail thought it was a little sad and said she didn't like it very much, ha!

ROLL OVER!

At the end of November (the 22nd) I was making lunch for the kids, and I turned just in time to watch Cassidy roll from her back to her tummy. Yay! The kids were very excited, and Cassidy thought it was fun for a second. Then she got mad because she couldn't figure out how to move her arm out.

It's been fun to watch the kids interact with Cassidy - Grayson is the one that can get the biggest smiles and giggles from her.
