Abigail's class does a V.I.P day for every student - aka, very important pirate! Abigail was very excited about her day. We got to create a flag for her, share a bit about her, and read her favorite story (Pony book). Then she got to "walk the plank!"

Lily colors
If you had told me Lily had colored this, I wouldn't have believe it. She did such a great job coloring in the lines!
that one time
We were the lucky winners of a $100 visa gift card!! The only reason I even checked inside was so I could recycle the box, but I'm glad I did!
painting pumpkins
We went and picked all the pumpkins from our garden - there were quite a few! Most of them ended up being pretty little, so we decided to make the best of a warm afternoon and paint them!
Happy Birthday Abigail!!
Someone was VERY excited to be six. The night before she kept saying how excited she was, how she couldn't wait to see her balloons and decorations in the morning! Cracked. me. up! We didn't get very fancy, but she got a banner and some balloons.
Abigail is very expressive, watching her face as she opened her presents was PRICELESS! She had been asking for Elena's scepter for a while, and she was glad she got one!

Happy Kids
My flight got a bit delayed so I slept at my parents house, but left at 4:30 because I couldn't wait to get home. I had a great time, but sure missed my family. My kids were pretty excited to see me, and also excited about the presents I bought!
Rhode Island - the Elm
The other house we saw was the Elms.
This was where stuff was delivered to the house - into the servant quarters/kitchen. They had these plants growing over the path so no one would see the comings and goings of the home.
This made me laugh!
