confession

Sometimes I put shoes on Abigail to entertain her so I can get something done. True story. She loves shoes. She knows right where my flip flops are in the closet. She also loves feet, and will eat/lick your toes if you let her. Not sure why it is so interesting, but it's fun to watch.

first ponytail

I finally picked up some elastics from the store, and played a little bit with Abigail's hair. Which is easier said than done. She did not want to sit still! Guess we'll have to work on that ...

my favorite things

opening cupboards. banging doors. pulling out whatever is inside

peekaboo. with blankets. my favorite is Sunday dresses

mom gave me a pirouette. mom's not sure if I really ate chocolate or just enjoyed the wafer

S'more goodness

Yesterday we went up Smithfield Canyon with some friends, and enjoyed dinner and s'mores. Yum. I loves s'mores. How can you go wrong with chocolate, marshmallow, and graham crackers?? Dinner was yummy (thanks Lisa!) and we enjoyed each others company.

Chade is about a year and half older than Abigail, and Abigail is fascinated with him. She loves chasing him and climbing all over him. He's a pretty good sport and puts up with most of it. 

Isn't this the sweetest thing, ever? He is such a cute little boy, giving her hugs and kisses. Abigail loved being outdoors. She wanted to walk everywhere, and loved looking at the water in the creek.   

 

busy weekend ... a week late

It is so hard these days to stay on top of blogging! I admit, reading took priority this week as I couldn't put a series down. So here is our fun weekend, almost a week late!

Abigail and I went down to meet some of my friends from high school and their kids on Saturday. We came down Friday morning and got to spend some time with my parents and Abigail's cousin (and only girl cousin) Lizzy.  We had a lot of fun!

 Abigail really enjoyed climbing in and out of the pool. She LOVES playing with grass, and laying down in it. 

Lizzy took these next three pictures, which made me laugh when I saw them. Don't you just love the faces that Abigail makes?

 

It was also a lot of fun seeing friends from High School and their kids! The youngest kids are all within eight-nine months. And all so cute! Thank you Katie for taking the pictures!
