It feels strange to be celebrating a snow storm in February, especially in Cache Valley! I have enjoyed the warm days that have come, but have missed the snow. My mom gave Abigail a snowsuit for Christmas, and she was finally able to test it out today!

hats
Joe has been putting hats on Abigail right around bedtime, and she's really enjoyed wearing them. And leaves them on! I also got her to wear the hat my mom made for her for longer than 5 seconds!

welcome third trimester
Yep, I am 2/3 of the way done with this pregnancy! Hurray! I am getting more and more excited for the arrival of this little unnamed little boy, and also a little bit nervous. Here are a few tidbits about this pregnancy:
- While I was extremely nauseated with Abigail, I have been extremely emotional with this little guy. Joe has been amused with the things that make me cry - girls singing in the mall, hallmark commercials, etc.
- he is a MOVER!! Much more so than Abigail. I was very worried with her and her lack of movement. He moves all the time, especially at odd hours in the morning.
- the only thing I have really craved is root beer, and Joe was happy to oblige that craving
- we were pretty sure he was a boy - and so far we have guessed correctly with both our children
go grandpa go
we spent a fun weekend down at my parents. My dad entertained Abigail, and got in a little exercise, as he pushed her in a chair down the hall and around the island, making her squeal in delight. I don't think she ever got tired of it, but wore my dad out a little bit.
My mom also found a way to make Abigail giggle - patty cake with feet!
I got to enjoy an evening out with all the girls - we went to see Emma at Pioneer Theater. It was so much fun!

Aggie spirit
We were able to get out this past weekend, and attend some Aggie events. Friday evening we went to a gymnastics meet. I have always enjoyed them - they're relaxing and low key. More of a feel good event. Abigail enjoyed watching the gymnasts, although I think she liked watching them on the jumbotron more than on the floor. Joe enjoyed getting her to do the Scotsman.
We then went to a basketball game the next night. It had been FOREVER since I attended one, and it was a lot more fun. Abigail was a lot more interested in what was going on - it was pretty loud! Sad to say the Aggies didn't look very good, but hopefully next year will be better!

it's a love thing
I woke up Valentines morning to a WONDERFUL surprise. First - Abigail woke up at 6, but put herself back to sleep until 8. That was nice. Second - I find little notes from Joe. It made my day!! It was so thoughtful of him, and very much needed. He is a wonderful husband, and deserves a lot for putting up with me! I left some of the notes in place so I could look at them throughout the day and I fell in love again :). You're the best, Joe!
Here's a collection of all the notes I found. I think I got them all! He was very creative. He rolled one up into my vitamins container; I found others in the fridge, shoes, drawers, etc. Thank you Joe for a wonderful day!

playtime
My sister gave us an alphabet puzzle board that Abigail loves to play with daily. Her latest thing is flipping the pieces behind her, in between her legs. She thinks this is hilarious, especially if you try to grab the pieces while she's flipping them.
One last picture - Abigail: "oops Daddy, I think you forgot something!"
please
Abigail really hasn't shown much interest in talking - well, saying
words. She jabbers all the time, but every time you ask her to say
something she says no. Stubborn child! I've been trying to teach her to
sign please when she asks for something, and she has definitely got the
hang of it! She does it mostly when she wants us to play her favorite
song on the IPOD (The Show by Lenka), when she wants food, and when she
wants me to push the stuffed animal that sings. I love to watch her
learn and grow!

gymnastics meet
Friday we got a little adventerous and headed over to the Spectrum to watch USU gymnastics. Joe and I have always enjoyed attending them. We weren't sure how long Abigail would last, but she did pretty well for being tired. The scary part was watching one of the ASU gymnasts pretty much miss the vault, and land almost off the mats. The ended up putting a brace on her neck, and carrying her out on a board. Sad!
Before it got too crowded, Abigail enjoyed running around, and laying on the seats.
