end of June already??

Where has the month of June gone???  Right now we are all (except Joe) getting over colds, and trying not to go too stir crazy.  Seriously ... colds in June?? And poor Lily struggles to breathe, which makes eating exciting :). Oh well. Life is going pretty good, busy, but good.  We don't get out much (other than our backyard and the park around the corner), but my kids don't complain too much luckily.  Joe had a long week, and was able to get off Friday afternoon and we took the kids to the Zoo.  Abigail and Grayson loved the animals, and it was super nice to get out.

Lily is now ONE MONTH old.  Wow.  I can't imagine life without her!  She is such a sweetheart - she puts up with her crazy brother who won't leave her alone.  He calls her "E" and has to be by her when she is awake.  When I'm feeding her on my bed he is right there begging to get up.  We have tried to teach him soft, but he doesn't quite get it yet!  Abigail loves to hold Lily, point out body parts especially her belly button, and loves it when Lily holds her finger.

Abigail and Grayson have started to play well together (minus the toy stealing and the pushing down).  She loves to wrestle with him, but he doesn't seem to mind!

while the kids splashed

I got to take care of this little beauty.  (splashing pictures below!) I can't believe she is now two weeks old.  I'm missing sleep, although I didn't really get much before, but my body is mostly recovered and I'm getting my energy back. I do not miss being pregnant, but feel overwhelmed at having three kids.  But I wouldn't change a thing!  It is neat sharing a middle name with Lily, it kind of created a bond/connection that isn't with my other kids.  Not that I don't love the other ones :). Here are some random pictures of Lily from the last couple of weeks.

the three munchkins.  we couldn't get Abigail to stop picking her nose :)

he thinks she is a toy.  still working on being soft :)

sweetest sleeping face ever.  And she just had a bath so her hair is super soft.

sleepy smile!
Joe sleeps downstairs on a cot of sorts (sorry Joe), and gets to snuggle with Lily in the morning.

when Daddy is home

Luckily we had Lily right before Memorial weekend, so we got to enjoy some extra time with Joe.  The kids loved having him home, especially since he let them play in the water a couple of days.  Our kids LOVE the water (do any kids not love water??), and could splash forever.
