three naked buns in the tub!
Yep, I bathe all three kids at once. It is a little chaotic, but they love it. Turns out Lily thinks it is hilarious to be splashed in the face, and Abigail is more than willing to oblige.

No Mommy, I Elsa
We took all three kids to see Frozen last week, and we lasted the entire movie! And Lily was only slightly loud at a few points, but no one gave us dirty looks (that I could see, good think it was dark). This was Grayson's first movie, and he LOVED it. And so did Abigail. Since then we've been watching the songs on YouTube, and Let It Go has become a favorite. Abigail loves it so much that she will only respond to things if I call her Elsa. So here is "Let It Go" with some dancing and singing from the kids.

Grandpa Van Ausdal
We had the viewing and funeral for my Grandpa Van Ausdal the Thursday and Friday he passed away. It was very neat, humbling, and emotional to listen to everyone talk of him. I especially enjoyed the life sketch my brother shared and his own experiences. It was also wonderful to see my cousins again. I have FIVE cousins, TOTAL. Seriously. And they lived in Georgia growing up so we didn't see them often. We're all grown up, and they've spread out more than we have, but it was THE BEST to see four of them. (and THANK YOU Dionne for the pictures!)
My cousins - somehow they all ended up blonde and we're all brunettes :) Good lookin' family!
it was very neat to have the military there to honor him. He loved serving in the Air Force, and flying airplanes.
It was very emotional when they started playing Taps. What a sweet tribute to an amazing man.
My Grandpa was lucky to marry LaRue Walker a couple years after my Grandma passed away. She is an amazing woman, and my heart broke that she had to do this a second time. My Dad helped my Grandpa a lot as he suffered with Alzheimer's, and his strength and humility is amazing.

Good to see my sister and her family!
my beautiful cousin Rikki. It was SO good to catch up!it was very neat to have the military there to honor him. He loved serving in the Air Force, and flying airplanes.

Thank you, Grandpa, for the life that you led. Thank you for giving me a wonderful father, and a wonderful family. Give Grandma a hug for me. Love you.
the "fork"
After one of our major snow storms Joe decided to build a fort. or "fork" as Abigail calls it. He spent a good couple of hours on this thing, and we were sad when it collapsed from the heat a few days later.
life captured
Christmas
and maybe Grayson was a bit excited too
Joe recorded Christmas morning, so hopefully I can get some stills from that. It was fun watching the kids open presents and get excited. My favorite was when Abigail opened her ladybug umbrella. She didn't need anything after that!
We went up to Park City and watched the ski jumpers. It was cold.
