How does time go by so fast? Every time we reach a new month, it feels as if we just had her. This little girl LOVES to be independent - she is not a cuddler, tolerates being held if she can look out, and does a fantastic job of putting up with her siblings. She can roll pretty well onto her sides, and is starting to reach for and play with toys. And her smiles, they kill me every time! We had been bathing her in a baby/toddler bath, but she kicks so much we decided to switch her to the big tub. And she loves it - she just kicks and kicks, and rolls onto her side and gets water in her eyes. She wakes up 1-2 times to eat, but always goes back to sleep. She often sleeps until 9, and one day she slept in until 11! We love our little Cassidy Rey!

Happy Birthday to Joe
Joe was unfortunately in Vegas for his birthday, so we made sure to send him a nice birthday picture :) Also, it snowed for the first time on his way home!
Happy Halloween!!
I decided that Joe could take the kids out trick-or-treating while I stayed home with Cassidy. They had a great time!
Grandma's Halloween Party
My mom hosts a Halloween party, and the kids always have a blast! Auntie Lisa flew in from Oregon, and these two witches threw a great party!
The first activity - eating donuts with hands tied! The kids had a hard time with this, but it was fun to watch them!
My dad and Joe made a maze in the garden, which the kids had fun making their way through and finding hidden presents.
They got balloons tied to their ankles, and tried to pop the other person's balloon. Everyone had a blast until Grayson got upset when they ganged up on him.
Lastly they did an "obstacle" course - had to follow certain instructions to get to the end. My favorite was walk like a Zombie, which made no sense to my kids!
And here is the whole crew ...

exercise
I've gotten into a pretty good exercise routine since having Cassidy, and the kids like to join in sometimes. This day I just sat on the couch and called out things for them to do - they loved it!
