Bear Lake - day 4
Monday started out slightly overcast, and we headed out to Minnetonka caves. Joe & I had been there years before, and the kids were pretty excited. There were a LOT of steps, a little bit of whining (it's 40 degrees!), but we persisted (minus Joe & Cassidy) and enjoyed it. The afternoon was spent on a boat tubing, and then wakeboarding. It was my first time tubing, and it was pretty fun. The kids thought it was great, until Abigail got dumped twice (thanks to Ross & me), and Lily got bounced out of the wake. So fun! We ended up going home that night, I really enjoyed sleeping in my own bed.
Bear Lake - day 3
The third day was awesome - we rented two waverunners and were out all day. Such a blast. Of course I got no pictures, but it was fun. It's also fun spending time inside in the evenings. One of my favorite things was how Cassidy reacted to my sister Megan. We look quite a bit a like, and it confused Cassidy at first. She stuck her face right in my sister's before she decided it wasn't me!
Bear Lake - day 2
The second day we woke up and decided to spend the day on the beach. Abigail LOVED using the paddle boards, and eventually got out on her own. She got stuck a few times, but otherwise had so much fun. They had a pool at the community we were in so we spent quite a bit of time there.
Bear Lake - day 1
The first day was just an evening, but it was awesome. The kids were so excited to see all the cousins (the Popes live in Georgia so it is a big deal when they come) and we ate dinner, attempted a family picture, then had cupcakes to celebrate Cassidy's birthday. The evening was gorgeous, and the kids had a blast. The night wasn't the best - Cassidy woke up a lot and then screamed her head off in the morning. Darn those teeth.
