New years eve was pretty simple - we played the Wii (the kids loved it), and Cameron and Shandee came down for games and snacks. The party ended around 10, but that works for me!

Abigail LOVES Cassidy - every morning she comes upstairs and asks if Cassidy is awake yet. The first person she asks for after school is Cassidy. And if Cassidy cries she is the first to see what she can do to help. 

Christmas Day

Christmas morning was very fun! Lily was the first up - she came running into our room, but didn't see the presents. I went and told her to look and she got VERY excited. She went downstairs to tell the other kids and then they ran and woke Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Jill.  I tried to make the Santa gifts special - different wrapping paper and my friend wrote tags in cursive. The kids didn't care, ha! It was fun to see how excited they were.  I somehow got put in charge of handing out the presents so I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted. Abigail was super excited about her roller blades, and Lily & Grayson both got Flip-a-zoos and paw patrol toys so they could play together.

 

Christmas Eve night

We decided to "liven" up our Christmas story telling by singing songs; Joe would read a scripture or two and then we'd sing a primary song.  I loved it! Then the kids got to open the Christmas pajamas, Abigail was very excited to get footed pajamas!
