a not so happy birthday :(

Well, today was Grayson's birthday and we were SO excited to celebrate with him. Then he woke up a bit after midnight throwing up.  Then was sick for the next 4 hours.  The Lily woke him up early. And he was crabby. He was sick again. We watched a couple of movies, he napped for 5 hours, then woke up a bit happier.  He was SO SAD it made my heart break! He was excited for his gifts though, and especially enjoyed his Baymax blanket. He then chose to watch Princess Ariel after dinner.  Not the day we were hoping for, but a reminder to make the best out of what you have!

everyday life

Grayson was scared of the humidifier, and so he climbed into bed with Abigail.

her favorite color is pink. Abigail's is now purple

their side planks look better than mine!

LOTS OF DIRT!  Hopefully it will be covered by grass soon!

while Daddy was gone

Joe took a trip to New York, and we had a bit of fun while he was gone.  Honestly, it was so fun I forgot most of it :) But Grayson and Abigail discovered how fun it is to go "ice skating" in tights on the wood floor. 

to catch a spider

You can't really tell but that's a spider in the upper corner of the bathroom. And Abigail is trying to catch it with her boot. I told her that I don't like spiders, and she said "but Mommy, it's a little spider. It won't hurt you, it'll tickle!"  I was slightly embarrassed she was braver than me!

evening at the mall

We ended up at the Ogden mall one evening (second time returning a pair of pants), and turns out they had some pretty fun stuff to play on.  The kids were especially excited about the helicopter, which Grayson kept calling Blade

how we nap

Some days are tough around here, and naps are required :) And sometimes they happen in random places

Park day in February

Sorry I'm so far behind ... will I ever catch up??  We had a CRAZY winter.  I don't think you could even call it winter, not when you go to the park in February! 

yes, that is a grate they are sliding down.  I think they did this for about an hour!

zoodles

Joe got me a Paderno spiralizer for Christmas, and we put it to the test!  I spiralized some zucchini and the kids couldn't wait to eat them!  They ate them raw, but didn't like them cooked :)
