Kindergarten!

Kindergarten always starts a week or so after the other grades, and he was SO anxious to go to school!  At the last minute the teacher he was assigned (Mrs. Baxter) retired, so we got to meet his new teacher Mrs. Smith! She has been super nice, and he loves it! 

 

 

apple days

At the end of August we went to River Height's apple days. The kids got to decorate their bikes and be in a bike parade. There was also a rodeo/course for the kids, and Lily got a metal - that girl is FAST!

School!!

It finally happened - school started! Abigail has been waiting forever to go back to school, but had a few rough days. Especially being gone from me all day - there were maybe 3 days in a row she was sent to school crying, but every time she came home she was happy!

Eclipse

On the 21st we pulled out our special glasses and watched the eclipse! It was pretty cool - especially when it started getting colder and dimmer!

independence

The older children have discovered independence - Abigail now makes her own PB&J, Lily likes to "make"a quesadilla, and Grayson spreads butter & jam on his toast.
