Ringing Bros. Circus

Joe got a notification that the circus was coming to town, and we decided to go!  I had never been, so I was pretty excited. The kids were pretty excited too :) We let them pick out a toy/treat, and sat down and watched the pre-show.  It was pretty fun!  The show was entitled "Out of this World", and the show was exactly that!  People spinning in balls above the stage - the stage was half ice, half floor. One of the first acts was a contraption that people walked on, like a moon walk. It rotated and they did all sorts of tricks, riding on their shoulders, riding a bike. Pretty cool!

Next came the animals, which was amazing! They had tigers, and lions and cheetahs all in the same "cage". They snarled and swing their claws at the trainer, but they listened to him and did all sorts of tricks. The coolest was when he got them to lay down next to each other and put their foreleg over the animal next to them. CRAZY!

The trapeze artists were also amazing - the things they could do (and catch each other) astounded me!

The tricks they did while riding horses also amazed me.  And I was also really surprised how many women did these tricks - jumping off the horse then spinning around while jumping back on. Dangling off the side and picking up things, CRAZY!
