Fun date night

Saturday the 13th Joe & I went with some friends to see this musical at USU. It normally is shown up at the Pickleville Playhouse by Bear Lake, but after a lot of sold out shows they decided to perform it in the valley for a short time. This has to be one of the most hilarious musicals I have ever seen. The story follows Juanito Bandito and his somewhat clueless band of outlaws as they seek revenge after nearly getting hanged by the sheriff. This summer they're doing another installment (the musicals are all written by the lead character - Bandito) and I'm really excited about it!!

Only one month left until Joe & I are headed with some friends to DISNEYLAND!!!

what I'm dreaming of

Spring ... are you coming? Some days it doesn't feel like we'll ever see blue skies and green grass! The awful weather in Cache Valley has me dreaming of this:

Joe and I took these pictures in late October, and I just barely got around to putting them on my computer. They remind me that there is such a thing as clear blue sky!!

Book Blog

I have decided to start a book blog, A Spoonful of Perception. I love to read, & I'm always looking for book suggestions so the blog is designed to have many authors, all posting reviews on books being read, wanting to read, etc. If you're interested, please look at the blog and e-mail me if you would like to be an author. Nothing too exciting going on up here in Smithfield. Joe finally unlocked all the characters & cars in Mario Kart Wii, and is pretty excited. I love watching him & listening to him as he plays. He gets frustrated when he blows up with three blue shells in a game, and hates it when he gets smashed at the last minute. It makes me laugh! Grad school starts next week, and we're excited. That's about all that's going on up here. Maybe one of these days I'll actually post some pictures :)
