Man vs Mud

Joe won a free ticket to participate in the 5K Man vs Mud. He had a blast!! It would have been much more fun with a group of people. So I guess I am participating next year. Any one else volunteer?

To start the race, they had to go down this slip and slide which had been covered in water and soap.

After going down the slide, they ran back up and spectators were allowed to shoot them with water! 

Toward the end of the race they had to try to cross a "creek" by running along these floating bridges, which were pretty skinny. I never saw someone make it! 

At the end of the race, you went down another slip and slide that was being watered down with a fire truck. Right into a pool of mud.  

A happy Joe at the end of the race! He hurried and washed off, and we headed down to Salt Lake!
