Birthday Girl - Van Ausdal party

We celebrated Abigail's birthday with a BANG! Saturday we rented a bounce house, and all the cousins had a blast! It was hard to get her to come out, but cupcakes worked pretty good.  She only would eat the frosting, though!  She got spoiled and got a camera for her birthday (I've already had to erase all the pictures - 800 worth), a superman, and a princess dress!  To say this girl was happy would be an understatement!

Lily bug

This girl is giving me a run for my money.  She is non-stop on the go, climbing everywhere (she can climb onto the desk with the computer monitors), teething and cranky, and cuddly.  She has only four teeth in front, but her molars decided to come in first, and now are followed by three up front.  Or so.  She sleeps horribly, wanting to be held, but she is a good cuddler :) One side effect of teething is a nasty diaper rash, so she gets to enjoy some naked time!

from garden to pantry

I took this picture prematurely (add another batch of salsa & soup), but this shows what we have been doing this past month.  Canning: pears, soup, salsa (green & red), and spaghetti sauce. And in the freezer we have applesauce and corn.  And I'm tired, but it was worth it!
