Easter Sunday

I decided to do things a little different this year - the Easter Bunny left clues and the kids got to search for some fun new things!  They found a note on their cereal box that led to some new Sunday clothes!

The Easter Bunny left more clues to follow after lunch - they got a new baseball bat, bubbles, treats, and the movie Troll!  To say the kids were excited was an understatement.  They'd been asking to buy the movie for a couple of weeks!

Happy Easter!

The Saturday before Easter we wanted to take the kids to the River Heights "egg" hunt. Grayson had a major meltdown because Joe spiked his hair, which he didn't like, and couldn't calm down so he ended up staying home.  The girls had fun, though!  Poor Abigail had to go by herself, and was so timid about picking up the bags that she didn't get any at first. We looked around, and found one in the tree which totally made her day!

That day we went down and spent some time with family, and had a flashlight egg hunt in the dark basement at my parents. The kids thought it was great!

soccer days

We are so excited that soccer has started up again!  I'm not sure how it happened, but all the girls from the neighborhood ended up on the same team, which is AWESOME!  Abigail has loved it, is more aggressive this spring and has scored at least 3 goals. So proud of her!

Abigail's teacher even showed up for the game - perfect! She has been the best teacher, so kind and supportive of all the kids!
