Girl & her accessories

Cassidy is a BIG fan of accessories.  She loves shoes, jackets, and bows in her hair!  If I take a bow out, she grabs it out of my hand and tries to put it back!   The kids were playing dress up and she was trying SO hard to get this shoe on!

Abigail is so expressive - I love it!!  When we would ask her what she wanted for her birthday her reply was always - Harry Potter!  We got her 3 Harry Potter necklaces, Harry Potter lego set, a jewelry making kit (small elastics, watch out for the baby!), and Joe got her a magic set.  All big hits!

Harry Potter Birthday

Abigail was very excited to invite her friends to a Harry Potter birthday party!! I tried to keep the activities a secret so she didn't know what was coming!

 We started off with the scene where Harry gets a wand - the wand chooses a wizard!  We blindfolded the kids and let the wand "pick" them!  Joe had carved patterns into wooden dowels and stained them. They were very excited!

We also let them pick an owl from the Owl Emporium (no picture?!) and then they made spell books.  Outside the kids (and Joe!) were able to duel.  They thought that was so fun!
