yum?

Today was an adventure in our house, we tried rice cereal for the first time. Thanks Dad for getting it for us.  She played around with it, and I'm not sure if the bib got more of it than her but I sure had fun! I look forward to her actually enjoying eating it, and actually eating it and swallowing it but we'll get there eventually!

This weekend Joe took of Friday to work on the car with his Dad, and I spent some time with my family.  I enjoyed having some girl time with my sister, mom, and sister-in-law. We shopped at Kohl's, and then got Red Mango (YUM!).  For some reason Abigail doesn't like to eat when we go to visit other people, but she behaved pretty good still.  Monday Joe took some cute pictures of her, and I thought I'd share!
Can you see her hair sticking up, in the back?  She's got a couple of patches where her hair is super long, and if I don't flatten it down right after her bath it ends up sticking straight up.  I love it that her hair is growing and filling in.  I'm looking forward to little ponytails!
This next one is one of my favorite ones.  I think you have to take a million photos to capture moments like these, sometimes they're so fast!  I love it when she gets excited to have us playing with her, and making her smile and laugh. She is such a joy in our lives.

Joe messed around with some of the settings on the camera, and I liked how they turned out.

for Auntie Jill

Dear Auntie Jill,

I wanted to thank you for the cute onesie you got for me while you were in Vegas. It's a little bit big for me now, but I'm excited to wear it in the summer. You're the best!!

Love,
Abigail

happy girl

Since starting her on reflux medicine, Abigail has been so much happier.  She's gained the pound that she lost when she was refusing to eat, and has moved up a size in clothes.  She's still super tiny, but super cute!!  We took her on a few walks this week, and Joe picked out the hat for her to wear!

Joe changed her diaper, and brought her back like this!!  How high can you ride???  Her little legs are so short, all her pants are pretty long.
How cute are these?  My niece wore this when she was little, and I can't wait for Abigail to be ready for them.
Happy girl!!  Playing with her favorite toy as of late - links.  We have them all around our house, and on her car seat.  She'll fall asleep playing with them.
Here are some cute faces she made today.  She is getting really good at turning on her side, facing me, and talking.  I'm just waiting for her to become more mobile!
Helping with the laundry! She is such a joy to have around our house, and our whole world revolves around her.  We're enjoying watching her grow and learn new things.
