enjoying the lake

We have been lucky enough to be at Bear Lake three weekends this month - all with good friends!  The second time was with Joe's old roommates, it was so much fun to catch up and the kids had a blast riding in the boat and wrecking sand castles.  This past weekend we went up with our good friends the Sanders - we had a BLAST!  The kids enjoyed playing at the cabin, riding in the razor, flying kites at the beach, and swimming in the pool.  It was the perfect weekend.  We got to relax at the cabin, and just enjoy ourselves!

 

Snowbird - July 12

Over the weekend of the 12th we went to Snowbird with my family.  It was beautiful up there - nice & clear, and not too hot.  Our kids weren't able to do everything, but we enjoyed the bounce house, the alpine slide, and Abigail went on the mountain coaster with Joe.  We enjoyed taking the tram all the way up the mountain, it was quite the spectacular view! 

Independence Day

We had a happy Fourth of July!  The night before we did a few fireworks, and discovered Lily loves to eat them and Grayson is scared of the noisy & flashy fireworks.  He didn't sleep well that night, poor kid!  The next day we headed up to Bear Lake with the Chambers where we all had a great time!

I wasn't sure what Lily was going to think of the water - she hates swimming pools and splash pads, but she was in HEAVEN with all the sand and water.  Couldn't keep that girl out, even when she was shivering with blue lips!

 

Grayson enjoyed getting buried in the sand, and having Daddy tickle his feet. Then Joe got buried and turned into a merman :)

And Abigail enjoyed riding the shark in and out of the water!  It was super crowded, but a perfect day.
