trick or treating

I wanted to get out while the sun was shining, so we left our house at 5:30 and went around our subdivision. We finished around 6:30 and after a few trips and bumps we decided to call it a night.  I thought it was perfect timing, we didn't have to spend a lot of time in the dark!

Pumpkin carving

We have learned that it's good to do pumpkin carving as close to Halloween as possible, so the pumpkins don't get moldy and shrivel!  This year we did them the day before - perfect! Grayson was pretty good about digging into the pumpkin for the "guts", but Abigail wasn't a fan!

Family pictures

Mid-October we were able to get family pictures taken outside with all the beautiful fall colors!  Thanks to erinbphotgraphy for the great pictures!
