happy birthday!!

Somehow four years has gone by since this little girl joined our family!  Her birthday was pretty low key - we played with friends, watched a movie, and the scouts came over to prime our basement :) Joe managed to sneak away for some pink cake & ice cream. Her request for birthday presents was Trolls, so she got a Troll book, Troll house, and the other kids picked out littlest pet shops for her. She was so happy to finally be 4!

Lily is a joy most of the time - she can be very affectionate! Hugs are a common occurrence, and she loves telling people "I luff you". She follows her siblings around, and gets upset if they go somewhere else to play. She loves cuddling, and stroking the moles on my arm. "I luff your moles, mom". Ha! She gets scared at night because she thinks there are ghosts in her room, so she has to sleep with her lamp on all night. She loves stories, and would sit and listen to me for a long time! She's stubborn, and wants things her way and if she wants something usually her tummy has to hurt first. She'll cry uncontrollably and say her tummy hurts, and that she needs water. Or a popsicle. Or to go outside. I'm not quite sure how she associates the two!
