A look back

I was looking back through old e-mails and stumbled upon this picture that my sister had sent to me. Anyone want to take a guess at how long ago this picture was taken? Nearly five years ago. I look so different now, that I had to show Joe and he got a good laugh. I used to run around and play outside as much as I could (I miss getting tan), and regularly exercised and now I'm stuck in front of a computer all day and don't exercise as much as I should. Hopefully we'll be able to go up to Bear Lake often this summer so I can get a little sun & I hope I can exercise more. This is a random post, but maybe something to laugh about. It's always fun to look back at old pictures and have a good laugh.

So my nephew was five months old or so when the picture was taken of him & me. Since I was single at the time I would go down and spend weekends with him, and I LOVED taking care of him. Below is a picture that was taken on Sunday of my younger brother Brian with all three of my sisters kids. They can be a handful, but sure are fun!

The California Screamin'

One more picture of the trip! I was going for Shear Terror. How'd I do?

I may have to Photo Shop Bonnie next to me as she didn't want to ride this one :)

DISNEYLAND

The beach ... it was a bit on the chilly side, but so beautiful!! Joe enjoyed being chased by the waves, and I loved the feel of sand under my feet.

Joe & Aaron went on Splash Mountain early in the morning, too chilly for the girls :), and had a blast! There was no wait in the line, and I was glad I could get a picture of them.
Joe & I went exploring a little bit in California Adventure, and enjoyed a relaxing evening. I was surprised how much the weather changed. In the morning it was perfect, by two o'clock it was a little too warm for me, and then in the evening it was jacket & pants weather. I really can't complain though, it was a ton better than Cache Valley weather!! We all wore our Aggie gear (at least during the morning/afternoon), and I was surprised by how much attention we got. When we were walking to the park, someone started shouting the Aggie fight song from a passing car.

Joe & Mickey. This was in front of Innovations in Disneyland, which was pretty cool. The technology that is coming out or will be coming out is pretty sweet!

I was a little character shy, but Joe & Aaron got in line and I decided to join them with Woody & Jesse! It was fun to watch the characters interact with the little kids.

One of the coolest things was the Pixar Parade (that's probably not it's real name, but it works). It was fun to see all the characters, and the cool effects they did.
P.S. See the post below for a funny picture
