24th

The 24th we decided to be brave and travel down to Davis County to be with family.  One of the hardest things about having a newborn is being stuck at home, especially when there are so many fun things to do outside!  Luckily the kids have had lots of neighbors to play with, and Joe takes them out. We spent the morning/early afternoon at my parents house and the kids got to play with cousins and had a water party.  We went over to the Chambers for dinner, and some driving!  The kids love these toys - they would drive these for hours if I let them!

Sleepy girl

It has been a while since we have had a baby in our house, but I don't remember the others sleeping so much!  There have been a few days where I don't feel like I have seen her eyes!  She does this scary thing where she swallows, but can't breathe and the gasps really loud and screams!  She also spits up/gags up a lot of milk, so we tilted her pack and play that she sleeps in. She likes to sleep in her swing, and also her bouncy chair.  And man - she poops a lot.  I have to change her diaper at night just to keep her awake, and she'll poop a couple times before and after so we go through a LOT of diapers!

Abigail kept asking why I don't comb her hair down - I had to show her one day that even when I do comb it down, it will just stick right back up!

Cassidy gets a LOT of attention at our house!  The kids all fight over who gets to hold her, and they are quick to run into my room to see her when she starts crying. She's been a good sport and holds pretty still while her siblings check her out!

She is a VERY sleepy girl!  I forget how hard it is sometimes to keep them awake while feeding them, or burping them! I love the sleepy smiles she gives when she's fallen asleep and content. We love her so much!
